Alex graduated with a BSc in Computer Science at UCL in London. He’s created and managed various companies and successfully secured funding for a startup while still at university. After graduating, Alex worked at a startup that focused on machine learning OCR algorithms. Within 6 months he was leading the team of data scientists with his natural leadership. He was closely involved with helping train the ML algorithm to help extract key financial metrics from Government Mortgages & Bonds.

He joined BAE - Applied Intelligence as a Cyber Security consultant and worked with government clients. There, he led a team of technical experts to quickly deliver high impact projects. One such project was a technical initiative to fully encrypt a government client’s network, providing utmost cyber security controls over data access for over 40,000 employees across the U.K. During this time, he was heavily involved with looking at how governments could leverage blockchain technology, the focus of which eventually led him to becoming interested in enterprise-grade solutions.
